Info
titlePurpose of Beta

Inspera would like to gather feedback from the participating institutions on the current possibilities and limitations. Specifically, what features and functionality should be added before the institution would start using this?

To share feedback with Inspera, please follow these steps:
1. Create an issue on Service Desk of the type “Development Project Report”
2. Set “Project Code” to 31
3. Share your feedback

Please note that Inspera will not provide support on how to set up or use the integration

IMS Learning Tools Interoperability™ (LTI) is a specification designed to allow remote tools and content to be integrated into a Learning Management System (LMS).

See http://www.imsglobal.org/specs/ltiv1p1p1/implementation-guide for more technical details on LTI.

Inspera Assessment currently supports launching as a tool using LTI 1.1.1, for both admin and student users. Transfer of results is not currently supported.

Important note!

The current functionality does not contain any adaptions of Inspera Assessment to optimise user experience or instruct users on how to use LTI.

The current LTI integration available during the beta is not suited for usage outside of technical and functional evaluation.

Overall flow

For Inspera Assessment to be added as an LTI app in an LMS/VLE, a set of credentials is needed. Contact Inspera Service Desk to get this set up for your account.

...

Access to the test is controlled by the LMS. By exposing access to the created object, the LTI integration assumes that all users with access to the object should have access in Inspera Assessment (this also covers how student are assigned to a test).
