Procedures
The following procedures can be completed by invigilators.
Candidate cannot start exam in SEB
Symtom: Candidate receives an error message opening the exam in SEB.
Cause: Candidate has a wrong version of SEB installed (or has not installed SEB at all).
Alternative solutions:
Candidate is experiencing problems in SEB during exam
Symtom: Client error warning messages in Monitor. Candidate is experiencing degraded computer performance.
Cause: Candidate has installed Safe Exam Browser on a computer that doesn`t meet system requirements. This can lead to Client Errors, server side saving delays or in worst case - loss of data.
Alternative solutions:
Exempt candidate from SEB (Requires chief invigilator access or above).
Switching a candidate to paper (Requires chief invigilator access or above).
Candidate has left SEB for unknown reasons
Symtom: Quit SEB warning message in Monitor
Cause: Exiting SEB before delivering, falls in the category of suspicious behavior. In the time frame between the Quit SEB warning message to the visual inspection, the candidate will have full internet- and local file access and should be followed up by an invigilator as soon as possible.
Perform a visual inspection of candidate as soon as possible
The purpose of a visual inspection is to determine whether the SEB exit should be regarded as suspicious behavour.

Symtom: Candidate recieves Offline Alert. Offline Warning in Monitor Tool
