Guide for Graders

We're thrilled to welcome you to the very first version of Inspera Grading 2.0!

Understanding your experiences and opinions is crucial in making the new grading tool better for you and other users, so we are grateful to include you in every stage of its development, as early as possible. Before you start, we encourage you to familiarise yourself with what is included in version 0.1:

Scope and purpose of version 0.1

Version 0.1 is focused on the single-user marking workflow, which is the foundation of the marking experience.

As is the case with most beta versions, many features are still in development, resulting in some beta 0.1 features having limited functionality at the moment. For example, the Candidate Lists workspace includes only a few of the planned columns, and the filtering is not yet available. Since the list of unavailable features in version 0.1 is longer than the list of available features, we recommend a quick review of the Features list.

...and not in scope

The following core functionality is not in the scope of version 0.1:

  • Annotation / Feedback to students
  • Criteria marking / Banded marking
  • Confirming marks and grades
  • Committees / Grading management
  • Explanations of grades
  • UI languages
